B&B Italia Armchairs Softcage armchair

Softcage by B&B Italia, designed by Mario Bellini in 2024, is an outdoor collection that reinterprets an iconic piece from the past. Inspired by a 1975 project, this series modernizes the use of handwoven rattan, enhancing its lightness and natural charm. The innovative design blends tradition and modernity, with a cage-like structure made of 45 mm elements and 18 mm slats, ensuring both strength and elegance.

Comfort is provided by a slanted, suspended base and backrest, specifically designed to enhance ergonomics. The collection includes an armchair and a sofa in two sizes, available in a variety of colors. Perfect for gardens, terraces, and refined outdoor spaces, it combines aesthetics and practicality, enhancing areas with timeless elegance.
