B&B Italia Sofas Tortello sofa

The Tortello sofa by B&B Italia, designed by Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby, is characterized by a robust structure with welcoming and generous lines.

By using recycled polyethylene and rotational molding technology, this sofa features a monolithic trapezoidal base with an elastomer mattress and a foam-padded top covered in fabric with distinctive stitching. It’s a perfect sofa for those aspiring to maximum sustainability, using advanced materials like expanded polyurethane and thermoplastic elastomers, promoting recycling.

The use of polyurethane is minimized, yet the seating ensures comfort thanks to ingeniously conceived design. The choice of materials and construction techniques makes Tortello completely disassemblable and easily recyclable.

This sophisticated sofa, with playful and fresh shapes, integrates perfectly into modern environments, adding a contemporary yet elegant touch to residential spaces or offices.
