Baxter Armchairs Brigitte armchair

Baxter’s Brigitte armchair is designed by Draga & Aurel.

The upholstered sofa, which features an innovative and pointed design, begins to take form in the room because of the material movement. This piece of furniture is finished in painted metal and has a distinctive feature which leaves the user in an impression of a floating piece of furniture in the space where it is placed.

Large cushions made of supple leather cover the seat and backrest, hiding the shell underneath, made of a curving supporting framework in birch plywood. The pillows gentle curves almost invite their users to sink in and embrace them. Rubber-woven elastic ribbons in the springing mechanism ensure comfort and wellbeing and emphasize the need for generous padding and volume in the furniture is essential. The wood that makes up the supporting framework is made of fir and beech.

This iconic and unique design supplement brings together focus on both aesthetics and functionality.
