Baxter Armchairs Housse Extra

The Paola Navone-designed Housse armchair Extra for Baxter is notable for its genuine comfort and seamless fusion of form and function.

This piece of furniture aims to communicate a sense of relaxation with its plush cushioning made of viscoelastic foam cushions. This material conforms to the contours of the body as it wraps around it and takes on its shape. The capacity to transfer weight uniformly helps to prevent the formation of pressure spots, which in turn improves the overall quality of relaxation.

Seating comfort and relaxation are ensured by a springing system made of elastic ribbons braided in rubber, and this system is brought to life by the generous dimensions and cushioning of the seats.

A honeycomb design of fir and poplar serves as the framework.

The leather that is used for the couch’s upholstery creates a drapery effect that gently hugs the sofa’s framework and is one of its defining features.

The armchair’s profile is drawn with elegance and refinement by the visible stitching, which serves to highlight the finer points of the design.
