Carl Hansen Armchairs OW149

The OW149 Colonial Chair in solid walnut wood, designed by Ole Wanscher in 1959 for the brand Carl Hansen & Sn, represents a timeless design icon. The armchair aims to combine classic elegance with durability.

The Colonial Chair is characterized by curved armrests and a lightweight yet stable structure, thanks to clever structural reinforcement. The solid wood front and back legs gently curve outward, providing stability and sophistication. The Colonial series also includes a coordinated sofa and coffee table. The armchair is available with a matching OW149F ottoman for enhanced comfort. Ideal for a reading nook, waiting area, or relaxation zone as a versatile and sophisticated choice.
