Carl Hansen Armchairs VLA76

The VLA76 Foyer Chair by Carl Hansen & Sn, crafted from oak and leather, belongs to the series custom-made for Radiohuset in Copenhagen and is the result of Vilhelm Lauritzen’s design. This creation is characterized by a unique blend of a robust oak frame, carefully upholstered seat, and ergonomically inclined backrest. The intricate geometric construction, composed of three distinct elements, seamlessly merges into harmony through meticulous hand finishing, eliminating any trace of joints. The perfect use of leather, expertly treated and crafted, enhances both the seat and backrest, adorned with artisanal buttons. This creation found its ideal habitat in foyers, welcoming guests with sophistication, yet it also stylishly adapts to various areas of contemporary homes, thanks to its iconic and comfortable presence.
