Carl Hansen Sofas OW149-2

The OW149-2 sofa by Carl Hansen & Sn, designed by Ole Wanscher, draws inspiration from the design of British furniture from the 18th century, often influenced by styles and materials used in the colonies. The design reflects the designer’s meticulous dedication to refined details, featuring a relatively essential grid structure where elements interact synergistically. The slender dimensions are minimized, while the solidity of the project is achieved through skillfully conceived architecture, including double central legs for added strength.

This masterpiece is part of the brand’s Colonial series, alongside other iconic pieces. The sofa finds its ideal placement in living spaces, entrances, and covered verandas, adding a touch of elegance to contemporary environments.
