Cassina Modular Sofas Beam Sofa System

Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola created the Beam Sofa System for Cassina.

The sofa is an embodiment of the designer’s acute awareness of and appreciation for modern aesthetics; it embraces and reinterprets new ideas without ignoring the history that has inexorably shaped the development of furniture. In light of these inferences, Cassina, in conjunction with Patricia Urquiola, looks forward to the future.

The Beam Sofa System is distinguished by an architectural rigor that is readily apparent, and it is denoted by the presence of a beam that enables flexibility in the composition of individualized seating arrangements. The plush cushions, which are distinguished by pinched stitching that elegantly molds the sinuosity of the shapes along the entire circumference, promptly counterbalance the stiffness.

Fabric and leather are available as options for the upholstery of the seat.
