Gueridon J.M. by Cassina, designed by Charlotte Perriand in 1953, is a versatile side table originally created for the residence of her husband, Jacques Martin, in Tokyo.

Inspired by traditional Japanese lacquered trays used to serve meals during official events, this stackable model was initially produced in only nine pieces. Its lightweight structure, made by folding a single sheet of aluminum with side openings, reflects an essential and functional aesthetic.

In 2016, Cassina reinterpreted the original design with its artisanal expertise, replacing the aluminum with fiberglass reinforced with leather, using a sophisticated custom manufacturing process. Perfect for residential and professional spaces, the side table combines tradition and innovation with a refined and timeless style.
